Formerly a professional
ballet dancer and later an instructor and choreographer,Ms. Sara,
as she is affectionately known to her students, has a deep affinity
for the arts, and has a creative flair that is evident in everything
she does. Although she will always have a deep love of dance,
her desire to expand her artistic ventures beyond dance led her
to pursue the art of specialty cake decoration. While dance is
an art that appeals to the eye, in cake creation, Ms. Sara found
a new art that could please many more senses.
Ms. Sara was fortunate enough to find herself assisting and learning
first hand from an array of pastry chefs and cake decorators in
her hometown of Miami, Florida. Initially incorporating the techniques
taught to her by these amazingly talented people, it wasn’t
long before Ms. Sara’s own unique style began to emerge,
and she became a true artist in her own right. Knowing that every
artist must continually work to refine and perfect his/her skills,
Sara travels to Florida periodically to study at the Notter School
of Pastry Arts, under the direction of the renowned pastry chef
Ewald Notter.
Now in the Bay Area, she brings all her love, talent and passion
for making decadent cakes to your special day.
